Arriving by Metro

The closest Metro station is the Potomac Yard–VT Metrorail Station, which serves the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus area.

After exiting the station, follow signs toward Potomac Yard and the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus area. The campus address is:

• The Potomac Yard–VT Station provides walkable access to the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus.
• There is no dedicated Metro commuter parking or Kiss & Ride at the Potomac Yard–VT Station.

There are two parking options available: surface lot parking and garage parking. Surface parking is denoted by the red box on the map, and the garage entrance is denoted by the orange arrow.

Surface Lot Parking

The surface lot uses the ParkMobile app.

Garage Parking

The garage uses a parking stub system.

• Upon entry, you will receive a parking stub for garage payment.
• When exiting, you may pay at ticket machines located at the P1 and P2 elevator bays.
• You may also pay at the exit gate by inserting the ticket stub and paying by card.

Parking Pricing

• $4 per hour
• $20 maximum per day
• No overnight parking is allowed.
• Vehicles must exit by 10:00 p.m. or they may not be accessible until 6:00 a.m. the following day.

Please avoid parking in the Target or nearby shopping center lots due to strict towing policies.
